3 Top Tips For Tidying and Organising Your Child's Toys

Step 1. First and Foremost, Declutter

Perhaps you're feeling that your children's toys are overwhelming your space. Sort through your children's toys, removing any broken or damaged toys for repair or disposal. Ask your children which toys they don't want anymore and perhaps ask them for suggestions on who to give them to.

Step 2. Labels  'A place for everything and everything in its place'

Find storage solutions and label them. You can use words or pictures or a combination of the two, especially if your little one is not reading yet. This encourages an awareness of letters and words. To make it fun you can ask your child to help you make the labels and put their toys in your storage solutions.

Step 3 Child Friendly Storage Systems

Have attractive, easy to reach storage solutions at low levels so children can access their toys without risking pulling anything down on themselves. When children can reach their toys themselves it fosters independence.
